The Chow Kit Kitchen & Bar, just like any kitchen, is the warm heart of the hotel. Open and inviting, it bears the familiarity of your favourite kopitiam, but with the hallmarks of an international city. Drop in any time of day for a leisurely, caffeine-spiked breakfast over papers, a reviving lunch in the middle of the day, lazy afternoon drinks that stretch into dinner, or restorative nightcaps at dusk. It’s a democratic, always buzzing space where anyone is welcome and city-slickers conduct business alongside holiday-makers; artists argue next to aunties.
The food and drink are just what you’d expect of a modern all-day restaurant, led by award-winning restaurateurs Christian Bauer and Eddie Chew of Troika Sky Dining. Malaysian and international flavours sit side-by-side, borrowing quirks and tweaks from the region. It’s not the food your grandma made, though it will remind you of it. And cocktails of course, specially created for The Chow Kit.
